By booking a service with Miss Prim & Proper, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.
Booking & Scheduling
- All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.
- We require accurate contact information and home access details at the time of booking.
- Please ensure someone is available to provide access at the scheduled time, or arrange alternate entry (lockbox, hidden key, etc.) in advance.
- First-time clients may be contacted prior to their appointment to confirm details and discuss service expectations.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
- No-shows (failure to provide access at the scheduled time without prior notice) may be charged the full service fee.
- To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at info@missprimandproper.ca or through your booking confirmation email.
Home Access & Preparation
- Please ensure pets are secured in a safe area during service, or inform us in advance of any pet-related instructions.
- We ask that walkways and work areas be reasonably accessible. Excessive clutter may limit our ability to clean certain areas or may require additional time.
- Please notify us of any security systems, alarm codes, or special entry instructions before your appointment.
- Miss Prim & Proper is not responsible for lost keys, lockbox malfunctions, or access issues beyond our control.
Service Expectations
- Our team will perform services as outlined in your booking. If you have specific priorities or areas of focus, please communicate them at the time of booking or before your appointment.
- We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise arranged. If you prefer we use your products (eco-friendly, specific brands, etc.), please let us know in advance.
- Completion time may vary depending on the size and condition of your home.
Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made.
- We accept [cash / e-Transfer / credit card via Square — update as needed].
- Prices quoted are estimates based on information provided. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work differs significantly from the original booking.
Satisfaction Guarantee
- Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not happy with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment and we will make it right.
- We do not offer refunds, but we will re-clean any areas of concern at no additional charge.
Liability & Insurance
- Miss Prim & Proper takes great care in every home. However, we are not liable for damage to items that are fragile, improperly secured, or not disclosed prior to service.
- Please inform us of any delicate surfaces, antiques, or items requiring special handling before your appointment.
- We carry liability insurance for your peace of mind. Details available upon request.
Right to Refuse Service
- Miss Prim & Proper reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if:
- The work environment is deemed unsafe or unsanitary
- The client is abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate toward staff
- The scope of work significantly exceeds what was booked without prior arrangement
Privacy
- We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during booking is used solely for service delivery and communication.
- We will never share your information with third parties without your consent.
- Photos of your home will never be taken or shared without explicit permission.
Agreement
By completing your booking with Miss Prim & Proper, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
