Meet Theresa — The Heart Behind Miss Prim & Proper

“Miss Prim & Proper” started as my mother’s nickname for me. When she passed, I kept it…it felt like a way to carry a piece of her with me. Now it’s the heart of a business built on care, attention, and getting the details right.

With a background in social work, I’ve spent years supporting families through life’s challenges. What I’ve learned is this: when our surroundings feel chaotic, everything else feels harder. A clean, organized home isn’t about perfection — it’s about peace of mind, breathing room, and reclaiming precious time for the people and moments you love.

As a busy mom and proud pet parent myself, I understand the juggle. The never-ending laundry, the counters that won’t stay clear, the guilt of choosing between scrubbing floors and spending time with your kids. I started Miss Prim & Proper because I believe you shouldn’t have to choose.

When I’m not helping families reclaim their spaces, you’ll find me on the dance floor. Swing dancing is my joy…there’s something freeing about the energy, the improvisation, and the way you can’t help but smile when the music starts.
